Welcome to a deep investigation into the real world of acting for the stage.

Designed for students who are serious about immersing themselves in the work of the actor and who are hungry to broaden their technical knowledge and skills, you will rotate on a timetable of  Acting for Theatre, Audition practice, Comedy, Alexander Technique, Mindfulness, Movement for the Actor, Viewpoints, Improvisation, Voice, Accents, Stage Combat, and much more.

Coaches, mentors and special guests are invited into the rehearsal room each term giving actors an opportunity to work deep, make industry connections, and gain invaluable insight into this incredible industry. You are also given an array of additional electives that will enhance your training and development. Upon completion of this program you will perform your best work to a live audience and industry guests.

“We believe in shaping ambitious actors who are prepared to take risks and who have made this career choice their lifelong commitment.”

Stage 1 – Technique
You will develop optimum skills and connect your authentic self to the work by choosing scenes from our library of over 800 plays every week. You will learn an analysis process based on four simple principles and begin to live moment to moment through original exercises to bring back each week. Over the weeks you will build a solid working relationship with one another which will shape you into a disciplined and courageous human being. The class is dissected into 3 key elements: The Human Condition (you), Script Analysis & Performance Technique.

Stage 2 – Process
This is an invitation to re-awaken your relationship to your actors life in a profoundly personal journey. Over the 10 weeks you will explore different techniques and work together to unlock the obstacles which have held you back for far too long. Armed with your newfound knowledge from Stage 1 you will experience exercises which include mindset, breath work, moment lab, focus, tension, rhythm, space and language. You will utilise these tools to reveal inner strength, a deeper intelligence and a newfound connection to yourself and your character. Each week we channel your experience through script work and performance technique.

“Throughout the school break actors are allocated 3 plays to read. You will collectively decide which play you would like to tackle to perform to a live audience in Term 4”.

Stage 3 – Rehearsal
We start the term reading our chosen play and begin the job of allocating our cast. This term is shaped to give you the opportunity to work on text in a professional setting where your director will give feedback in a professional and exciting environment. Each week we will work together to unveil the story moment by moment and you will be given specific exercises which will bring your character to life. You will be introduced to an assembly of theatre practitioners who include professional lighting and set designers and begin to work together to create your masterpiece for your audience. Students will also learn about producing and create their own press releases to get their audience motivated to attend opening night.

Stage 4 – Performance
Fine tuning your play and rehearsing together as an ensemble is an important element to your stage acting journey. You will collectively build your set, source your costumes and bring your showcase to life on stage in front of a live audience and industry guests.

or combine the Advanced Stage Technique course with the 40 Week Screen Acting program.  You can also add on a Screen Production module as well.
